Our Team
Our team includes a clinical specialist in Autism, a senior occupational therapist, a clinical nurse specialist and a mentor and Trainer. Additionally, we collaborate with a Consultant Psychiatrist as needed. Through established partnerships with leading European experts in neurodiversity, we stay at the forefront of the latest advancements in autism care, ensuring the highest standard of service for our clients.
Director / Autism Specialist
Assumpta Finn is an experienced autism specialist with a career spanning more than three decades across health, education, and government services. Since 1990, she has worked across the United Kingdom and Scotland, as well as with the Government of Jersey, where she played an instrumental role in leading and managing developments to improve services and outcomes for the neurodiverse population. She is also a qualified nurse and behaviour specialist. Assumpta brings a rare combination of clinical expertise, strategic leadership, and deep practical understanding of neurodivergent individuals and their families.
She is highly respected within the field and has contributed to work internationally, supporting best practice approaches to autism and neurodiversity across a range of settings. Today, Assumpta leads a dedicated team committed to creating positive, person-centred experiences for clients. Her mission is not only to support individuals and families but also to educate and empower the wider community in Jersey, fostering greater understanding, inclusion, and acceptance of neurodiversity.

Specialist Occupational Therapist & Trainer
Sarah Sheehan is a Specialist Occupational Therapist with over 15 years of experience supporting children and adults across a wide range of settings. She holds a BSc (Hons) in Occupational Therapy from Oxford Brookes University and has dedicated her career to helping individuals develop the skills, confidence, and strategies they need to thrive in daily life.
Sarah has a particular passion for working with neurodiverse children and adults. Her expertise includes conducting diagnostic and sensory assessments, providing tailored recommendations, and delivering high-quality training to families and professionals. She is committed to taking a compassionate, person‑centred approach, ensuring every assessment and intervention is respectful, evidence-based, and grounded in a deep understanding of neurodiversity.
Working as part of the All About Autism team, Sarah brings her specialist occupational therapy expertise to a multidisciplinary group of professionals dedicated to providing accessible, supportive, and high-quality care. Together, they offer individuals and families comprehensive assessments, collaborative recommendations, and a unified approach to understanding and supporting neurodiversity.

Clinical Nurse Specialist, Registered Nurse Prescriber & Trainer
Lindsay Brennan is a Clinical Nurse Specialist and Registered Nurse Prescriber, qualifying as a Registered Mental Health Nurse in 2013. She has extensive experience across mental health, neurodevelopmental conditions, substance misuse, acute care, A&E Liaison and criminal justice/prison nursing, working with both children and adults.
She has worked across Jersey and Scotland in a variety of healthcare settings, supporting individuals with diverse and complex needs across community, inpatient, and multidisciplinary environments.
Lindsay currently works within the children’s neurodevelopmental team, where she carries out autism and ADHD assessments and leads on ADHD initiation and treatment. In addition to her role within the children’s team, Lindsay also works with All About Autism, providing neurodevelopmental assessments, support, and training.
Her lifelong personal experience of autism and ADHD within her family also informs her practice and reinforces her commitment to compassionate, personcentred neurodevelopmental care.

Trainer and mentor
Adrian Smith is a seasoned speaker and facilitator of accredited Nuco Mental Health First Aid training, working with organisations, schools, and community groups to build confidence in recognising and responding to mental health challenges. His sessions are engaging, practical, and designed to give participants the clarity and confidence to take meaningful action.
He holds a degree in Education from Plymouth University and a Level 3 counselling qualification, alongside hands-on experience running groups and peer support services within mental health charities. This combination of formal training and real-world experience allows Adrian to deliver content that is both credible and immediately applicable.
Adrian’s approach is further shaped by his lived experience as someone late diagnosed with ADHD and Autism. He brings this insight into his training to create inclusive, accessible learning environments where participants feel comfortable, supported, and able to engage openly without judgement.
