Services

We offer a range of comprehensive services.

  • Autism Assessments

We facilitate Autism diagnostic assessments for children(under 5 years upwards) and adults in a timely manner.

Our team follows best practice using recommended assessment tools, complementing the expertise and experience of clinicians.

We offer a relaxed, sensory sensitive environment for all our work and assist individuals and families by accommodating convenient times of day and weekend work with them if necessary.

Reports detail the outcome of an assessment, including the individual's strengths and differences and how they can improve their everyday living needs. If required, various support options can be facilitated by team members.

    ADHD Assessments

Diagnostics will commence later in 2026.

Sensory Assessments for Children and Adults

A sensory assessment helps to understand how an individual processes the sensory information they experience every day, such as sounds, touch, movement, taste, and visual input. Everyone interprets sensory information differently, but for some people, these differences can affect daily life, learning, behaviour, and emotional wellbeing.

As an Occupational Therapist, I provide comprehensive private sensory assessments designed to explore these unique patterns of sensory processing and the impact they may have at home, school, work, or in the community.

What Does a Sensory Assessment Involve?

    A sensory assessment typically includes:

    • A detailed discussion about strengths, differences, and daily routines

    • Standardised sensory questionnaires and tools

    • Clear recommendations tailored to the individual’s needs

    • A written report that can be shared with schools, workplaces, or other professionals

Assessments can be carried out for children, young people, and adults, including those with neurodevelopmental conditions such as autism, ADHD, or dyspraxia, as well as individuals who experience sensory sensitivities, overwhelm, or differences with sensory regulation.

    Why Are Sensory Assessments Beneficial?

A sensory assessment can help to:

    • Improve understanding of behaviours linked to sensory needs

    • Support emotional and self-regulation

    • Reduce stress during daily tasks

    • Enhance participation in school, work, and leisure

    • Guide strategies for dressing, eating, handwriting, attention, sleep, and more

    • Empower individuals, families, teachers, and employers with practical tools and insights

By identifying sensory strengths and challenges, we can develop personalised strategies that help individuals feel more comfortable, confident, and capable in their everyday lives.

  • Post-diagnostic Support Sessions

This is a course for newly diagnosed individuals offering bespoke sessions exploring what autism is and how it affects the individual. Attention is also paid to addressing the individual's differences.
